Who else has done C-64 Industrial, huh?! Yeah, that's right baby.
Man, this was fun to make. Originally I thought I'd remix this tune in a trance / techno kinda style, but then I was going through my sample libraries and noticed I had a crapload of C-64 samples I'd never used. So I dabbled with applying them to this theme. Man... it worked perfectly.
I wrote this entire remix in ONE NIGHT. I kept thinking "okay, I should be sleeping, I have to work in the morning... but I'm not done yet." So I stayed up. I mean, for this style to work, you have to be really, really intricate with the details. No cutting corners here. Especially once ya get into the wacky time signature stuff. Sometimes it's better just not to stop once ya have the flow going.
