Behold the benefits of insomnia. Seriously. I was lying awake, couldn't sleep, and had an itch to write music. The mentality was "okay, I only wanna write for a few hours, I don't want to start anything that big or really work on anything that serious, but I want to write, so... what should I do? I know! I'll make a remix for Joe Cam's Earthbound Project!" So I loaded up the SPC, listened to it, the Zombies theme caught my ears, I listened to it a few times, and then fired up the tracker.
I used the opportunity to play with some Hunz and Necros samples that I'd been itching to use somewhere, but hadn't found a good place for 'em. Well, they worked here. The end result is a weird, trippy, funky, yet soothing remix.
Is it obvious that I was barely awake when I wrote this? Bah, who cares. It sounds cool.
